Any tournaments in Houston tonight?

I'm in Houston visiting family and have some free time. Anyone know of any good weekly tournaments tonight? I'm on the NE side but am willing to travel. Hopefully the place has a good house cue to use as I didnt bring mine.

Fast Eddies at Fuqua has a weekly tournament off an on. You might give them a call.

If you are up on the NE side you might drop in at Bogies. Don't know if there's a tournament, but always plenty of action.

I went to bogies last Thursday and it was dead. I did play older gentleman named Eddie who had a good game. It seems the action has died at Bogie's.

I'll check with Fast Eddies. It would be nice if anyone knew of a tournament that's been getting a good turnout.

Even 24/7 Buffalo Billiards is closed for the evening.

Fast eddies.... I quit playing in those tourneys because they take too darn long. They supposedly start at 8pm with signup an hour before. The last times I have been there they call roll at 8:30 and ask everyone to get ready to start........unfortunately this normally takes another 45 minutes to get everyone ready to go.

Since the tourneys are on Wed(which is also free pool nite) except lots of non pool players there just partying. :rolleyes:
