i am convinced about Mr Vollmer's pedigree and have 1 in the works, but will like to hear what others think about his work, hit etc. thanks in advance.

Excellent playing cue (shaft woods), nice finish, extremely sharp and even, deep points.
Unfortunatley the price is a bit on the steep side. Much more expensive compared to a highend US cuemaker. But if you are looking for a player, is worth the price.

Give me a call sometime when you free, we can meet up for a trial on my Vollmer.

Germanys Best

I have a 8 Pointer recut Veneered Vollmer and they plays jam up. It is the only Steel jointed Cue I can play with.
The Hit is sweet with much Feedback, all is razer sharp and the Shafts are top class.
The Priece is okay for German Quality, same as for a Porsche:p:D

thanks Dennis, looking forward to meeting up ;)

Ralf, thats great to hear, as those who know me, know that i cant play with ss joints too well lol (only exception so far-->runde), but i am convinced i can play with Michael's cues. The experience has been great so far, great communication and i look forward to getting the cue soon.

I can highly recommend a Michael Vollmer cue. I have one and it is an exceptional player, even in comparison to the six Black Boars I have owned, and many other fine cuemaker's cues. Exceptional feel, balance, and action, and superior feedback to the player. Craftsmanship and quality of materials is excellent. Someone may think that the price is high, but they will change their mind once they see and play a Vollmer cue. I am Lu's friend and associate, Paul Del Giudice.

I know Myron (Alpine9430 here on Az) loves his Vollmer. He has a slick looking, steel jointed ebony cue and it is a beauty. I guess it's a suprisingly stiff taper, but once you get use to it, you can get some serious action on the cueball, and it's accurate as all get out.

I don't think you'll be dissapointed with your cue.

thanks for the info! i love that cue, very elegant as the spear ringwork gives the cue a classy edge!

Can you possibly post a picture of the forearm?

My apologies. I did not see the link below.

Vollmer and Arthur the best!!!

Michael is one of the best cuemakers in Europe, Michael "Vollmer Cues" taught by Tony Scianella, while the other, Marcus Dienst "Arthur Cues" taught by Bill Stroud
Michel is famous for his shaft and the similarity with BB line, while Marcus for his intricate creations
but both levels are the best american cuemakers..
higher than many in the world....
