Any way to repair a shattered buttcap?

Where it's a production cue (and I don't mean anything bad by that) id check with the local guys first because they will likely do a better job and do it in less time...just my .02

Edit: not to mention it's always good to help keep the local cuemakers in business....

I would have thought the manufacturer would be the preference, but I've been wrong before...and in this very thread.

If it's anything like dealing with guitar manufacturers they aren't in the business of repairing guitars, they are in the business of building and distributing new ones...so it costs more than what you'd pay the local guy to do the same job you just don't get the brand name.I could be wrong too but unless you care about restoring to original by the manufacture then I'd say support the local economy.
