You will need a local to vouch for you if they do not know you, or they will rate you the highest rating in their handi cap system. It is not easy being an unknown, unless you are a pretty strong player. Good luck.

That place in Mathews is really nice.
There's more than enough to keep you busy for most of the week stretching from Charlotte to Statesville.
You might want to stop in Statesville at Chandleys which is the mega pool hall. They have 57 Diamonds (most in the world) which includes one 5x10 along with a ton of bar tables and 9s. They have a few tournaments throughout the week on both 9 footers and bar boxes

You won't start as the highest but you should start as an 8. I play up there everyday and could maybe meet you up there sometime.
