I was at a garage sale yesterday and buried deep in a box of books was this one:

"Rolling Thunder (Across a Green Plain)" by Kent Dunning.

The title page says Written and Published by: Kent Dunning 1997 Springfield, MA.

The blurb on the back says:

"Pool players will relate to Ajaye's struggle to win the Nine-ball Tournament of the Century. But who will win? Who will emerge the best?"

The book is 96 pages and I finished it in about an hour.

Not bad and it cost me all of one American nickel. :D

Anybody ever heard of it or the author?

Randy...

If you are insinuating that I am blind, I can assure you that I am only 39 and I can still see a little... :)

If you are insinuating that I can't read well, I have taught myself all kinds of new tricks since last we spoke... LOL

I can now read, write, do rudimentary arithmetic and dress myself...

What I can't do is play any good...

How would you like to double your money? I'll give you 10 cents for the book.

Seriously, I would like to read it. I Googled the author and title and found nothing. I will pay any reasonable price if you will sell it to me.

By the way, I was formerely a 400 ball runner, then I bought a pair of glasses from Randy and I haven't run over 300 since.

Yup, I've created many a 100 ball runners that way. Secret is in the pool glasses....SPF=randyg

Dave...

I actually collect pool books, so I don't want to sell it...

However, there was an e-mail address inside the book for the author.

kdunning@surfnthe.net

You might try it and see if it is still valid...

Edit: As of 4/8/2008 the address was valid because it shows up on a message board with the following ad:

Seeking buyers for Inventions (Pick-up truck aftermarket and Outdoor power equipment) Unpublished songs, Unpublished manuscripts E-mail: kdunning@surfnthe.net
