Anybody familiar with Hicks cues?

Jeff Hicks maybe (Hicks Stix), from Illinios... I think. He's in the most recent Blue Book. But, looks like a nice "plain-jane" (not "sneaky" as listed) for the money. Nothing to lose...go for it. He sells them (if it's the same builder) for $200+ new. So, not a steal really.
