Anybody in the Gainesville Area?

Reviving an old thread - early nineties G'ville. Panama Joes, Players, Reitz Union......Don't remember many last names though. Dave Uwate, Shawn, Wayne P., Greg Llewellyn, Shoestring Randy Samuels, Johnny Ferber, Eddy, Matt Sherman, Emerson, Matt the dentist, Mike M (Mcgoalnik?, Stuart D and Cheryl at the Union. Any one else remember the names?

Most action your gonna find is at the Dugout against the owner Blair, there are a couple players that go there that has high stake action like Stu Fox or Iron mike. Chicken man has not been playing due to lost of sight in one eye. Moe F has his own pool hall out in ocala now I dont know if he still gambles he was a regular at my tournaments I ran. Chris Walls is still running balls like no ones business but I never see him gamble much anymore just league play,Same goes with Steve Foster they play on the same masters team. I know every player in the town I have played them all lol.
 
Hey Johnny, thanks for that input. That is good to know. The Dugout huh? I was a manager there from 91-95 for the original owner Mike. Ran a few tourneys and leagues, but most money games at that time were at Panama Joe's or Players. Of the names you mentioned, Chris Walls is the only one I knew and played with. Helluva player and nice guy. Cheers
