A customer/friend brought me this old cue today to repair...thought i would run it by this esteemed group for an identification first. This was a two piece cue and had a white (not ivory) slip on (not mechanically attached) joint collar...appears to be a plastic of some sort...still have a few pieces of it.
Any help appreciated...thanks in advance.

that's right, an adams/helmstetter 3 cushion cue. note the small ferrule, shaft is probably a full taper as well.

Here's a pic of what it looked like, before the collar came off (hopes this attachment works)

Looks like an Adam "logo" to me...

Thanks to all....I thought it was an Adams as well.
Can anyone tell me how old it it and give me an approximate value...the shaft is full taper and has a terrible crick (bow). I think the young guy wants to sell it...it was his dad's cue and has been in a closet for "a long time".
Thanks again, in advance.

It's a Helmstetter billiards cue made by Adams. Probably vintage about mid 1980's. I had a couple of them.
