Anybody know what this is ????

Scarred but Smarter
I picked this up recently, and have no clue what it is. It came from the East coast, New Jersey area. 4 Points, maybe rosewood, four veneers. Looks like MOP in the butt with 4 veneered box around the snowflakes (2). The letters in the butt are strange, looks like Pr ? The butt has a phillips screw holding the bumper, and that screw goes into a hex weight bolt, which is about 6 inches long. Any help or suggestions would be great on this mystery cue. Thanks a lot all !

Paul Rubino? The only cuemaker I can think of with those initials...

I thought it was one of Adams cues.... I had a cue made by his company that had the same ring work a while back... Is the joint a 5/16-18? The PR has me in a loop though... Did Adams cue line make any cues with a PR on them?

Good question. Thanks for the help. I called Adam Cues, they said a rep who's knowledgable with their older stuff will call me back. I posted pics on another site and got a reply from someone who thought it was an older Helmstetter / Adam made for a private label. Hopefully the rep will have some knowledge of it, we'll see. Thanks again.

I own a Paul Rubino from the mid 90's and am a big fan of his work, but I've never seen any with any identifying marks. And that cue looks pretty old.

i also thought it looked like a helmstetter, but the initials threw me off.

im 90% it's a old huebler.......
does it have a flat faced joint and the same thread count as a meucci?

if yes to both........its a huebler

someone changed the buttcap
