ETA - The wood is no longer available.
Just took out a persimmon tree and was going to toss the wood but I thought someone on here might want it. I am not willing to ship it so this would be someone who can pick it up in the San Francisco Bay area. (East bay)
If you're interested just let me know and I'll set it aside. If there is anything I need to do to cure it or store it so that it won't 'check' (whatever that is

The tree was cut about two weeks ago and I just cut the main trunk down today. I have a piece that's about 3-4' long and about 8" in diameter and two pieces that are 2-3' long the same diameter.
