Internally not really any different than the Tournaments or the Arcos II's...If I were to buy a top of the line pool ball it would probably be these.
It’s the vitrification layer that is the big difference. The price is probably driven by the processing time it takes to bake them in order to grow the thickness. Probably more like the difference between a high performance and super high performance bicycle, hard for us to tell unless we are acutely attuned.Internally not really any different than the Tournaments or the Arcos II's...
Just got a UPS email that my limited edition boxed set is due to arrive to me tomorrow, sent directly from Simonis - one of Aramith’s largest US dealers / distributors.Bumping this back up because the dealer I placed my pre-order with still has not gotten any of the three sets he ordered.
Has anyone seen these in the wild yet, how did Aramith screw this up so badly...
I'd be excited to hear a full report.Just got a UPS email that my limited edition boxed set is due to arrive to me tomorrow, sent directly from Simonis - one of Aramith’s largest US dealers / distributors.
I’m not planning to use them, but I’ll be glad to provide you with my first impression opinion as to how they look compared to the Aramith Tournament balls and the Brunswick Centennial balls. From what I’ve seen, I don’t believe I’m going to like the looks of them as much as either of the above 2 mentioned sets.I'd be excited to hear a full report.
This is like the Aramith clock running down at the beginning.Just got a UPS email that my limited edition boxed set is due to arrive to me tomorrow, sent directly from Simonis - one of Aramith’s largest US dealers / distributors.
Worst product launch ever....Checked with my supplier again yesterday, they said: "100 balls not in yet mid april maybe".
Update - I received my boxed set of Aramith 100’s today. They were packed / shipped amazingly secure from Simonis. As they are sealed in plastic and I’m not sure yet if I’m going to keep or sell them, I’m not breaking the seal on the plastic at this time - sorry! This is like the Aramith clock running down at the beginning.
Were almost there, maybe.
send pics when you get them.

From Iwan Simonis in IL, who is a US Aramith distributor. We’ve been buying cloth from them for 27 years for our poolroom so we have a wholesale account with Simonis / Aramith.you bought yours directly from Aramith?

I would guess that there is an improvement in durability. I'm only basing this in comparing my Aramith Premium balls with the pro cup measles ball. I can't see any scuffs on the measles ball but the others have gotten a couple of scuffs from hitting the fireplace. It’s the vitrification layer that is the big difference.
