Anyone compared Rhino Carbon shaft vs Predator Vantage in terms of CB deflection?

In terms of deflection, the Rhino (12.4) is a bit better but not by much. Biggest issue with the Rhino for me is the shift on the balance point, with the Rhino shaft which is lighter than the Vantage, the cue felt butt heavy, guessing the Rhino shaft would be a better fit with a lighter cue to move the balance point forward.
We use these little weights that go between the shaft and butt on my Jacoby. They come in 13g and 8g. My wife is using the 13g with the Rhino, and I pared an 8g with a new Jacoby kielwood shaft I got yesterday on a Jacoby cue I just picked up. They work great on a 3/8x10 and Radial and totally eliminate that front end lightness. 13g is .45 oz and 8g is .28 oz and if this adds too much weight for your liking, you can just cut/grind back some off your weight bolt. You will then end up with even more forward balance.
One other option is Rhino's new carbon shaft just released. One of the things mentioned was a more forward ballance of the shaft. in the picture they showed the weight in the shaft forward about 6-8" from where it was before. I know the weight in Rhinos shaft up till now is up really close to where the butt screws into as I was going to try to thread in a little further on one of the shafts we have, and I hit the weight about 1/4" past where the butt pin threads to.

Thanks for the tip, I have one of those (13g) , will try it later...

Have the ferrules replaced with Tomahawk ferrule material. Problem solved. You're welcome.
😉 I have never broken any ferrule.
I have never broken any ferrule on any quality cue. Only has happened with a cheap rhino ferrule and an action ferrule. All other manufacturers predator, Viking, McD, Falcon, Cuetec, mess, have held up.
