Anyone else getting sick of this??

I am getting sick of all this pool spam I am getting on Facebook. I keep look at at my FB and see I have 23 notifications. Its all the same thing Joe blow posted in Arizona pool players, Joe Blow posted in Pool is not dead, Joe Blow posted in Illinois pool players. Almost everytime its for a $200 added tourney in a town miles away from Arizona.
I understand getting the word out and marketing but if it's a $200 added even in NYC why are you posting a flyer in Azrizona poolplayers? Well I have started unfriending people as I see it. I don't want to as I know most of these people and look forward to hearing news but flooding my notifications is getting old. Rant over I think.

Yep. They're bulk notifying. It's annoying.

There are solutions without having to unfriend people. You can 'unfollow' them and you can also turn off future notifications for any particular thread.

Problem can be easily resolved.....

Click #1 - un-friend

Click #2 - deactivate.

I performed those key strokes 4 years ago, and haven't been back since. And you know what? I haven't missed facebook.

Go to that group page and just turn off notifications. That is what I did and now I just get the notifications I want.

Thanks for the info guys and gals. I will do that. It's a shame I have to do this though.
