Anyone ever had the Mike Gulyassy finish put on their shaft?

I heard he puts a special coating or something on shafts that makes them stay clean yet smooth at the same time...

Anyone ever had this done or tried one out?

A buddy of mine had it put on his shaft last year at Valley Forge and he loves it. I may give it a try this year.

Cool, thanks...... I read that page a while back, even contemplated it, but didn't like that it only lasts for 2 years..... as the only drawback. Seemed to me like a good idea, just wish it would last longer.

All it is is some kind of sealer he uses. I had it on my cue and my jump break and ive took it off both of mine. my hands sweat a little bit when i play and it felt very sticky to me, but some others might like it????

I thought about doing it, but how I burnish my shaft on my lathe it comes out very very silky and lasts for several weeks. Even though my hands sweat a lil it still stays very very smooth.
