Anyone ever try the Proshot Glove?

I bought one a year ago. Wore it for about 2 days when I played and practiced and didn't notice any difference with it on or off. I stopped wearing it and gave it away. maybe just me but to me it didn't do anything.

I have one and used it every time i shot for about 6 months. It had a big affect on my game and helping me straighten my stroke out.

I don't wear it all the time now, but I'll occasionally throw it on during a practice session or if i'm struggling. It had a big impact on my game and helped me move from an F player to an average D :)

I have one as well. I used it for a few months to help me keep my wrist straight. It works very well but can be uncomfortable at first. I still break it out now and then when I feel I might be slipping into bad habits.

I had a pretty bad wrist bend, so I bought this glove and gave it an honest try for a number of days. The straps weren't strong enough to restrain my wrist, so I really didn't notice an improvement. Maybe I didn't use it long enough... but I really felt like it wasn't doing much and found it a little uncomfortable to play with.

A few months later after a lesson with Max Eberlee he got me to change my stance a bit, to open up my stroke. Once I got my stroke out of the way of my body (and with some hard work) my wrist problems started to disappear.

So to summarize, the glove didn't really work for me, and even if it had worked I would've been ignoring the underlying problem with my stance.

I have a wrist brace from Walgreens that I had to wear after an accident several years ago... I just couldn't stay off the tables at that point and proceeded to play with it on.... It made me realize I was doing way more with my wrist than I was aware of... After Wearing it for a few weeks I was hitting everything but power draw as well or better than I had been prior...

The effect may have been purely placebo but the brace did give me feedback in an area that usually didn't give much on it's own.......

Don't have to wait on it to ship either =)

I am bumping this thread to see if there have been any new users.
Sounds like 50/50 like and/or think this is a waste of $

I purchased this when it came out to help me stop twisting my wrist on my finish. Used it a couple of times, now it's on the shelf. It didn't really help me much. Eventually I took lessons, had my stroke analyzed on video and recieved personalized feedback and advice on what I needed to adjust in order to straighten out my stroke.

That did the trick.

I putted my wristwatch with bracelet on my right hand, the watch lock the wrist and you can't move it left or right. It works good for me, something like that proshot glove.

Very effective. I've practiced with it and actually played with it. 2 thumbs up!
