Anyone got any info on Jr Players in Colorado having problems?

There is more to it than I can say here but I believe the other players had already been paid. This happened near the end of the last day during the finals..I wasn't there at that time.

Exactly, why were they told to setup in the back where the cameras happened to not be working or turned on :scratchhead::scratchhead:
Who were the 3 people that were not involved in the tournament that happened to show up on the last day that started crap with Marc?

Other stuff happened that I can't say right now. I have my opinion on what happened and who was involved but will keep that to myself

So by your"stolen" remark..are you trying to insinuate the money was not stolen?
Since everyone is hearing stuff 2nd hand it would be best if you are spreading rumors...especially ones that are not true.

The money was stolen along with all of Kimberly's credit cards, personal and business. The business cards were what she used to pay for sponsored players air, hotels and entry fees.

They have been sponsoring me for pool tournaments and there was only one issue and that was a room reservation due to it the credit card issue mentioned above. I paid the room myself and was reimbursed.

I can't speak to any of the issues with junior pool or dart players since I have no knowledge of them.
Yes, Kim has been in the hospital and is back home now I believe. She ran the show. If e-mails or phones weren't being answered that is the reason.

Hang in there. They are great people that have been getting some bad rolls

I'd have to disagre a bit, they were great when it came to saying things, but I've yet to see anything actually materialize. And as I said, it's one thing to not be able to do things, another to say several times it will happen and not contact back after a dozen attempts with several channels, including calls, emails and Facebook. If I knew nothing was going to happen I could have bought the cloth for my table so my son can practice for Nationals, booked the hotel and flight a month in advance instead of a week and probably saved a good chunk of money, and could have actually let my son and wife know what exactly was going on. Plus I used $70 of my savings I was putting away for the trip to Nationals on a tournament thinking I'd get it back.

Here is the kicker, a week ago during a fundraiser for the kids from our area for Nationals, another parent from my son's league said she talked to Kimberly on the phone just recently, so there was no reason we could not have gotten some reply. Str8shots also send her a gift card for the raffle. If they can contact someone and actually send them a gift card, there is no reason to leave a bunch of parents hanging days before a yearly event that all the kids look forward to all year.

aren't Nick Varner, Karen Corr, & John Schmidt involved with their Juniors?

Jayson Shaw was also with them, it's actually how my son and I got an introduction to him.

Karen was over in Ayer MA for our fundraiser a few weeks ago for the kids our area is sending (15 of them!!!), but I don't know if she was there without their support or on their behalf of just because she was in the area and they were able to arrange for her to be there.

She was giving lessons also for a few days, although at $100 an hour I had to pass. Joe Tucker, Strickland and some other top players in my area charge $75 or less.

Str8shots did do some great things at the start, they ran some nice tournaments in their areas, the main thing that really gets to me is the no communication, especially after talking to them barely a month before Jr Nationals and getting confirmation that they would get the plane ticket and hotel, in addition to them them talking to someone from our league just weeks ago before the whole sponsorship thing collapsed.

Well here we go again, another company that sucks people in and then can't live up to their promises. From what I am hearing there is always some kind of issue with these people and it is one thing when you don't live up to your promises and find reasons not to do as promised with the grown ups, but doing it to the kids? Not cool.
Does anyone have info on if they have raised any money to get these kids there? I am sure they were looking forward to this and excited.

I was going to play in the Jamaica Joe's event in Oklahoma, the 19th/20th of July. Looks like that event will no longer be played. I hope all the players get reimbursed and that Kimberley makes a recovery and gets back to full health. They seemed like good people who done a lot for many people and i hope all things are worked out and people don't jump to conclusions.
