thanks, how is the hit of the cue? is it a very soft hit (alot of feel) due to a wood pin.

My Starkey has an ivory joint and ferrule and I wouldn't describe it as a soft hit at all. Hit is always very hard to define in words but mine has a solid, crisp hit with a very pleasing feedback. It also has the standard shaft but I believe he makes a laminated too that I haven't experienced. I would say it's a lot of cue for the money and he stands behind them.

Hits like a monster..stiff...easy action ... good stick...good price...
