Anyone have a 3/8-12 tap

I need to make a shaft for a 3/8-12 (Miranda) cue, and need to buy or borrow a tap for the shaft. Does anyone have one, or any other ideas for this. Will the 3/8-11.5 work on it? Just trying to see if anyone has any experience with it. Thanks for your help.

Why aren't you cutting these with your thread mill cutter?
 
Let's see, spend 50 cents on some O-1 steel & cut one myself or spend $40 on one that's pre-made and by rights should really only cost $6/7 on the jobber's level market. Hmmmmmm???
