Hello all. I have a customer who wants a cue made with one of the internal extensions that were around 2-3 years ago. I havent seen any in a while and would like to buy one if anyone has any. Please pm me if you have one you could part with. I know how they were made and could make one, but I know they were patent'ed and I don't want to steal someones idea. Thanks Chris.

I could be wrong, because It's been a while, but seems like the guy that had the patent was in Canada, and they could be purchased from Him. atleast It seems like someone gave me his contact info one time, altough I have no idea where I have Placed It If so. Wish I could be of more help, but possible someone else will have more up to date info:)

The person who developed the extension is Bill Phillips, from Kitchener, Ontario. I don't believe that he is making them anymore. I also don't believe that he had a patent on the devise. I used to install them for him. His phone number is 519-743-5538. I believe DeRoos the cuemaker in British Columbia is now making them.

I can't find my price sheet today but Cue & Case Sales (FL) 1-800-835-7665 has a Players cue with the extension you're looking for. Item number S-PEC on pg. 41 of their catalog. might be able to buy the whole stick and use the extension joint for less than you think, plus you'll have extra parts and shaft for other projects. just an idea.......... j

Buffalo (brand) has an internal extension for there break cues. It's a cheap cue.

You may be able to destroy the cue and re-use the extension but it would be tough. I've installed one in a cue that's already built and it's more difficult than it looks to get a good fit.

who sells Buffalo cues in the USA ?.... have tried to buy them from www.Adam-Japan.com with no luck..... j

I'm not from the USA, so I dont know. But if you really want to buy some, maybe you can go to this website: http://www.billiard-products.com
You can contact them if you want. This season Buffalo is comming out with some new cues.

I also have seen some a site linked to this one: http://www.buffalo-billiards.com but I don't think they sell Buffalo cues.

If I can give you some good advice, don't buy a buffalo cue. I own one, and don't like it at all. You can definitaly see hugh different when you compare it with a good quality cue.

thanks Wes. I've tried to buy from Joba and they say the cues can't be sold to USA because of licensing agreements with Adam-Japan (the manufacturer of Buffalo, Adam, Balabushka, Helmstetter and some of the Lucasi line of cues). I was just hoping to buy one for a local player nicknamed "Buffalo". ......... j
