Anyone have any info on "Sierra Custom Cues"?

Greetings,

Considering a cue purchase, a Sierra Custom Cues 'Cheyenne' model.

Anyone have any info on the company, or the cue? I've done an extensive search on this forum, and I can't find where they've ever been mentioned...

It's a very nice 'looking' cue. I can't find anyone locally (PHX) who carries that line, so I can't actually see it before my purchase.

You might be getting two Sierra Cues mixed up. The one in Phoenix is a custom maker and the one with the Cheyenne line is a cheapo production cue...

I heard the custom cue maker in Phoenix is no longer making cues - into some aerospace work with machinery they have. Bryan Mordt used to work with them so you might check with him if you have any questions about them.
 
That's what I've heard, too, Jack. I know Bryan was having a tough time getting out cues when he shared the shop with Eric because of the machining they were doing for Aerospace...
 
Eric niemira (Sierra Custom Cues) out of Phoenix is no longer making cues from what he told me. He is very busy with his Aerospace machining. I know he eventually wants to get back into it. Theres a huge difference between a real Sierra (Eric) and the ones that you're looking at. Eric's cues are flawless and great players not a mas produced drone. The confusion is the name (Sierra custom cues) From what Eric told me basically they stold his name.Hope this helps......Dave
 
BCM is currently the proud owner of Eric's old shop.
They are some amazing playing cues theat are well worth the price, and only go up!
I never thought I'd be in a position to have to sell mine.....
dammit-
