Heard there was action at Qmasters, anyone know who played and the stakes? Was there any sides games at the Open (Convention Center) at the end of the day, or did it all go to Qmasters?

mmmmm, I must have missed that.I was at Qmasters several nights/mornings and dont remember seeing that.I know Richie Richeson and Jimmy Reid played 3 cushion and Richie was winning.I thought that was interesting that they matched up in that game.They both looked to be very capable at the game.
Larry Nevel played John Schmidt and Larry won, but some of the side money came up missing.Larry wasnt too happy.
Ike and a young guy that had beat Scotty to put him on the losers side were playing onepocket and Ike seemed to be getting the best of it.
The filipino contingent were spotting locals and shortstops huge weight and seemed to be having the best of it.

Reyes was playing corey and giving him 2 balls in 1 pocket, or atleast that was the rumor.
Scott frost and pooky were playing 1 pocket, lets just say for a large sum of beans, scott was giving pooky 10/7 10/8 i believe is what i was told. they were playing 5 ahead must win 2 sets to win, why not just play 10 ahead?.anyway, that went on for 4 nights that i know of. taking a break everyday when the sun came up..lol. an example is pooky up 1 set but down 3 games when they quit 1 morning only to resume play again that night. as a matter of fact the story goes that scott forfeited out of the open cuz of this match up. does anybody know who finally won that match up or is it still going on..
also saw ike playing a guy 1 pocket, seems to me ike was winning when i left.
there was alot more action than anyone could ever want to watch. the person i felt sorry for was tony chohan. poor tony could not get a game all week. Beter luck next time tony.
