Don't know how it's done on here, but an escrow service needs to be absolute expert in the field of their service. IOW, they don't just hold the funds and merchandise, they need to make sure the merchandise is as represented, know what to look for, what is acceptable and what is not.

The escrow service needs to be researched and deemed credible moreso than the seller, IMO.
 
Who are the best/most reliable. Does Proficient Billiards handle escrow?
 
It's a tough one with him in the Philippines but if you are buying a cue from him with PayPal you can't get burned.
If you are in a trade situation ask him if he knows someone in the US who he
works with on cue deals.

PayPal saved me twice from getting hosed.

I’ll do anything for my friends but somehow I’m sorry I get involved. I’m the one that had to handle any disputes,returns, claims.
