Is Tom still alive and playing at all? I played him a few times (donated) when I was living in Baltimore. I think his home pool room was in Dundalk? In his younger days he played with a tiny tip and cut-down ferrule. Must have been 5-6mm diameter. I heard as he got older he started playing with a more normal tip size. Curious, haven't been back there in over 20yrs. Doc
