recently bought a used GC3, at the time I thought it looked a bit smaller than 9', so I'm wondering if it is a pro 8. The table is disassembled now, so not sure what to measure. If it is a pro 8 that might be fine, probably fit the room a bit better, but I kind of wanted a 9'.
anyone know the slate dimensions on a GC3?

You can also measure the middle piece of slate from the inside edge of the pocket cutout across to the other inside edge pocket cutout. It should be 46" (8ft pro)or 50"(9ft).

All modern era 3 piece slates are 7" wider than the playing surface, meaning a slate that measures 57" across the width minus 7" leaves you a 50" playing surface=9ft...53"-7"= 46"...Pro 8' or oversized 8' 51"-7"= 44"....8ft, and so on.northman said:
