I asked a question once similar to this and some fool came back with a stupid answer about like yours.
The reason I was asking was because a couple friends and I were having a friendly bet as to who was right on something as grown folk sometimes do.
If you can't answer the question then stay out of grown folks business.

I think he is using the one on the end of his cue. I'm no genius like Trump, but I once got 60% on a multiple choice test as a sophomore in high school.

i want to apologize for my original post. My intention was not meant to offend the op or anyone else.

cabin fever I guess

In 40 years at least, there has never been a time that lasted a week without the peace, fellowship and culture of a visit to the local poolroom. I know that's not an acceptable excuse for an attempt (however feeble) to inject some humor in a response to the op's question.

I have to say however (in spite of the poster that stated the forum is only for questions and serious answers) that over the years I have enjoyed many of the funny ass replies posted by others in response to questions.

Some worthy of Norm Mac Donald

Anyway I am sorry for any offense that might have been taken, though non was intended.

I really don’t care, but good grief, it’s nice to see someone answer a simple question with a simple answer,

This forum never changes, and the people here probably never will. If there is any way for them to joke or make fun of a question, then they will do it.

That might be why people rarely ask questions, or comment on postings.

I always wondered why so many people view threads, but they never reply to them.

This thread for example has had 255 views so far, and less then 5 replies, with only 1 real / honest / good answer, to a simple question.

So, if you know the answer, then help with an answer. If you don't, or just want to make fun of the persons question, then you are doing nothing but hurting the forum.

Were forums not created for the purpose of asking questions, and helping with answers to those questions?

Yeah, Filler is paid to play for Predator, and he probably uses a Predator tip, but I am sure that he has his own preference of it being a Soft, Medium, or Hard tip.

You also make a good point that it does not matter what the pro's are using, because whatever they are using, that might not be right for our game, or what we would enjoy using.

Some of us have been on forums for over 20 years. Freddy Agnir said it best one time - posts seem to go in cycles. We have discussed pros and the tips they’ve used for several decades now. I rarely comment on posts because I have nothing to add. The correct answer was given. And quite frankly, Justin, as soon as I knew it was you, I stopped replying to posts. Some posters have a passive aggressive way of posting that will never result in clean dialogs. So I avoid most of those posters. Part of my kinder and gentler version of who and what I used to be.

The forum is fine. There are a few people that make it colourful. There are some that are hell bent on making this an NPR site. And then there’s a bunch that are just fine. But you, of all people, should understand that when you post the same bloody things over and over again for the sole purpose of curing your boredom, some of us get tired of “banter”, and just move onto a conversation worth having.

I'm not trying to be snarky here, but have you REALLY hung out in a real pool hall for any/significant amount of time?

I have, and all of the jokes and making fun of anything and everything is part of the experience and, in my opinion, part of its charm.
