Looking for someone who is experienced in pool to play some pool with. Mainly I'd like to find someone who will play and teach me at the same time, I know I am doing things wrong.. as I taught myself how to play. I am sure a veteran player could teach me a lot. I also wouldn't mind having someone to hit up to play some 8 ball for hours : )

I recommend you contact Tommy Kennedy. He lives in Port Charlotte. He is a former U.S. Open Champion & he knows every aspect of the game. I would love to get lessons but I don't think I'm near good enough to use them to their worth. So shooting with a friend and getting some pointers on what im doing wrong etc would be best.

Ray Martin is past his prime and does more teaching than Tournament playing now. He is very good at training both Beginners and Pros. I strongly suggest you take a few lessons from him since he is closer. What a man like either Tommy or Ray can do for your game is going to help you better than a Regular player. I was a 9 in BCA before ever taking a lesson from a BCA Certified instructor. I feel my game came up after taking lessons and should take more. One thing I learned from Lessons was drills help your game more than anything. Nothing against Tommy because I know him and he is a great guy, But I consider myself an acquaintance not a close friend. However he is about 1.5 hr drive from you.

Tommy actually Lives just North of Port Charlotte but in a different town called North Port. Many people associate the 2 towns together since they touch. I live much further East of that area in Cow & Citrus Country.
