Anyone near/play @ Cornfed Reds?

I'll be in town for the week and the closest place I could find to bang a few around at was Cornfed Reds. I've heard some good talk of the place, hoping it's not a dive.

If anyone's in the area and plays there, I plan to be there atleast 2 days during the week next week.


P.S. I heard Corey Deuel "The Prince of Pool" hangs out there when he's not on the road?
 
Head North 'til you get to the First Baptist Church. Trun right and go 'til it ends. Take a right and go 'til you see the neon sign"Cornfed Reds". I'll be there at 9PM.



By the way---what city are you talking about?

cornfed's is a good place to play pool,it's not one of the new slick hightech fancy pool halls but it is neat and clean,good tables and good food in the back lounge area were they serve beer and drinks.it's located in a good part of town so you don't have to worry about your safety and open 24 hrs a day,and yes corey does hang out there when in town as well as many other good players.players run the gamut from bangers to champions.;)

PS:also in the same strip mall is a good pizza place too.
 
I'm up for checking out any place in the area, especially if it's close. The only downfall is I'm traveling with a "group" and I won't have my own personal transportation. I might rely on the local taxi service to run me around to the pool halls.

Anyone on here shoot in the area?
 
I know the last time I was there in Dec the place looked like a dump inside but the tables were decent. I had always heard the place was action central after 2am but when I got there it was nothing but bangers. Granted it was around christmas I think so that could of had something to do with it.

Overall it's a decent place to play but not someplace I'm making the almost 2hr trip for again.
