hey dudes i went to Trident Jr. High in Anahiem...... from 72-74
Keith went there from 70-72. i shot pool at thee Bobs Billiards on
Ball rd. just west of Beach blvd. Ball rd was also where Magnolia
High School was where i was released in 77.

But i lived on Cerritos ave. 2 blocks south and shot mostly at
Cue & Cushion just down the street from the house i was raised in.

i can't say remember meeting Kieth..... ALL the kids in Orange County,
Ca. in the 70's acted just like Kieth...... LOL! i can't make this
shit up.

i played in a tourney at Bob's in the early 80s..... at the time
i had a 9 ft. B-table and thought i was the King..... well anyway to
make a long story short i got knocked out in the early round by
a guy i should have beat.

When i got home my wife asked; "so how did it go honey?"

i picked up the TV, lifted it over my head.....
and through it thru the front plate glass window
out into the rose garden......

Without missin' a beat my wife says; "It went that bad?"

a sad side note to the wild times of the 70/80s is the guy who
owned Cue & Cushion was robbed & murdered in his front yard in front
of his family for the nights take at the pool hall..... like 10k a i recall.

It turned out to be a guy everyone knew from school.... also went
down for another murder/robery of a drive thru dariy and a kidnap/rape
and murder of a teen.....

Never could find anyone online who remembers Cue & Cushion in
Anahiem....

and the shit that went down.... way back when.

i always wanted to ask Danny D. if he ever played there......

Still remember that snooker table!

As for OC back then...... it was a wash in boooze
& drugs. Of course for me is was either nixion,
war & death OR ~ sex, drugs & rock n roll....
complete no brainer.

when the 70's got hit by the blizzard via the cia
OC became violent..... hence the guy who went on
the killing spree was strung out.

The night he was arrested, i was partying at the
zoo, an apartment complex just across the st. from
cue & cushion. i went out to my truck to get another
beer i had stashed, when i ran into my old school
budddy who invited me over to his sisters pad
for a toke.

So i'm there for a short time when his sister
comes running in and says COPS! the COPS ARE HERE!

we all split up.....

the next day its front page news.

can't make this up!

Two 1970s killers

http://articles.ocregister.com/2011...e-hearings-parole-consideration-life-inmate/2

snip:

Two killers who terrorized Orange County in 1977 when they teamed up as
teenagers to commit random murders have postponed their
parole-suitability hearings slated for later this year.

Brett Matthew Paul Thomas, 51, and crime partner Mark Titch, 50,
together committed four murders during a nine-day crime spree. They were
sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after seven
years – both have been turned down for parole several times.

In 1977, Titch and Thomas kidnapped and murdered Laura Anne Stoughton,
20, whose body was found on a rocky hill in east Orange, her hands
clutching a rosary. Next, they shot and killed Ephraim J. Christian, 35,
during a bungled robbery at a Garden Grove dairy outlet.

Then the two teenagers gunned down billiards parlor owner Aubrey Duncan,
48, on the front porch of his Anaheim home in an effort to steal a money
bag from the Cue and Cushion Pool Hall in Stanton. Denise Duncan, 18,
Lynette's sister, was struck by a single pellet – in the heart – as she
stood inside the home.

Thomas and Titch were arrested near Victorville in a stolen car, with
evidence from the three murder scenes.
