Anyone try Bristol Finishes?

Good old nasty lung filling cancer causeing nason for me. 40 dollars for a quart with hardner, and thats with the gas to drive and get it.....I know that doesn't help, sorry

I have looked at this finish before and talking to the salesman at West Marine he told me that it is not super clear. It does put an amber tone to the wood.
 
Yeah, I figured that. Most people don't even notice the tint, but I myself like to see the wood crystal clear. I talked to a friends dad that has used it on his boat, and he loves it. He said the shine is incredible, but he just used it without sanding and buffing it out, so....
I may contact them and see if I can just buy a 2 oz sample or something like that.

It is awesome stuff no doubt, I would not use it on light color woods or high figured woods... But it is good stuff. Try finding a west marine near you, they have it.
