Anyone try CJ Wiley's SuperStance and SuperStroke Trainers?

I still don’t understand how resistance training, which will build up Your tricep is going to help your stroke.
And make it go straight
You can still pull back off-line with the band attached to your wrist
What am I missing?

That is a low resistance band that he is using. It's purpose is to get you to accelerate at the cue ball.

I did at one time have a task at work that could be done using my pool stance and stroke.
A significant number of 1x2 inch hardwood cap rails in various lengths, needed a mortise cut to accommodate a connector for office panels that the body was fabric and separated office areas in large rooms. So the pin router was my position well my task for semi trailer size orders that went from finish to shipping almost instantly.

My final performance had me in a neutral stance similar to linebacker, with supply cart of 50+ pieces that served as a workout cue. 🤷‍♂️.
My modifications to the pin router gave a pole vault launch entry to the 20,000 rpm bit. A tolerance of zero was the owners request as to the length and depth of the cut. Well I got it refined to where I could load with one hand while off loading with the other.
Uh oh the job was the one I quit shortly before I registered my tip top performance in bar box 9 ball race to 7 performance. The Big Show!!!!!
Well it took until going down 6-2 for the point against the only other undefeated....wow. When I did get my mind right......I Won. Well a few early 9s er uh money balls, as in those days the table was a quarter. The house did sponsor me for the 35 entry fee as I worked as a referee for the 2 day event. So not quite minimum wage but beer and food made it closer. 🤷‍♂️
I did get the second day off as I was playing on the one remaining table. 😉
And almost lost the t rack. I had the pin router singing in a fashion no one in the 10 person (not man 😉) shop had ever seen or heard. Just a steady March ing pace uh kinda like the cadence sung on March.
Your Left
Your left right left......
Of course my work got the thorough inspection as I had produced double what the factory had ever achieved. Every piece got A+. I got Good practice and developed an Adequate 😉 stroke. Not poke wink . Most of the tendons were cueball depth. So my focus needed to be on perfection in the insertion and completion of the stroke. The 20,000 rpm bit would punish quickly and well f*** ups were punished in brutal fashion. Things that make you say 🤔.
Doing the pin router task as a workout allowed me to get in the zone. Playing the router.....for an endurance pace built a strong foundation and stroke.
The linebacker stance then place bridge would be the strongest tripods stance. It works fine shooting from the hip.
The dance step into shooting position is next. 🤷‍♂️
Getting a little tired. Already 😉
Long winded er uh perhaps Windie Ed (you know ....old fart)

Are talking about the jumbo rubber band to add resistance to you stroke arm? I think that was concept was invented by Strong Arm John who was CJ's road dog back in the day. I remember when S.A.J. used to come to Houston with Whitey Walker in the 90's and he would always be practicing with that rubber band while Whitey was in action.
Since I don't watch videos or any of that, let me play devils advocate here and ask what does the rubber band do for you?? Set limits for you to follow or learn to slow your roll or what exactly??

A good stroke applies to life to life in general, imo. You've either got one, or you don't.

My experience in sports is that nature and nurture are both paths to success.
In competition on the fields of friendly strife it's extremely difficult to overcome superior fire power with superior training. Coach McHargue taught us to do just that playing high school football. . He had me playing center at 155. Facing some 200+ lb middle guards. I earned All League my senior year. 🤷‍♂️ The big ones were easy. My toughest battle was a middle guard that weighed 170. He was Just Mean. 😉
