I watched a demo on Youtube as well. Not sure if it is the same one since I don't use Facebook, but it seems that this scoring will available to all soon.

We have been using 8 ball for several weeks and i like it. We used 9 ball once before our league was shut down due to the virus. The main difference between 8 and 9 is that you have to account for every ball of each rack which requires a good view of the table. Other than that i have no issues using either one so far.
