I would like to hear any thoughts about your experience good or bad with any of these leagues. Some points I would like to hear about are:
1. How much money goes to the pool room?
2. What do you do about cheating teams or LO's?
3. Can multiple leagues run out of the same room?
4. IN house vs Travel pros and cons.

I would like to hear some ideas and then I will go into further detail on the issues we are facing.

Thanks,
Mort

We at Fast Eddie's in Texas do all of the above leagues. We have some in house, some traveling, some BCA, some APA, and some TAP. In my experience, the TAP and APA spend more money in the clubs drinking than the BCA. The players on the BCA leagues also typically are the better players. Most of our leagues are in house and someone else runs them, and we provide the tables. We do have a few of our own merchandise leagues as well, which are the most profitable. For some of them we do charge a green fee, but most we do not. (we have 19 stores in 13 different markets, so it varies considerably)

As far as the cheating, it is mostly handled by the league operators, so we see very little. In our own merch leagues that we run, it is more of a fun league, so it rarely comes up in those.

Hope that helps
