Apa/Cpa bashing

Considering you are a member here and take offense to my post, I will offer a sincere apology. I am sorry.

But being from Quebec, you are the ones that have made moves in the past to separate from the rest of your fellow countrymen. French law was passed making it illegal for any business to advertise in English, yet, the rest of Canada have to advertise and offer services in both languages.
a pretty large expense when the rest of us don't speak French or at least choose not to.

So, the only reason we want you to stay is that you won't split Canada in two and and actually separate us from the other provinces that sell us over priced lobster and seafood.

so, to make this post pool related, I have to say that I haven't run into a Maritimer that didn't know his way around a pool table.

Personally, I don't like the idea of Quebec splitting from the rest of Canada for many reasons but unfortunately there are a few who think we should be our own country.

Funny thing is that I can spot 'em miles away. There are the ones who don't speak a word of english and don't want to bother learning. I hear you loud and clear about the advertising. I have an anglophone friend (who lives in Montreal) who won't do business in quebec because of the french language.

Personally, I'm proud to speak french because I think I was lucky to learn it as a first language because its quite hard but I'll never understand the Law 101 that we have here. Honestly if Canada would become a one-language-only country, I would choose english in a heartbeat. So much easier for work and dealing with people overseas. English is spoken all over the world....french not so much.

Have a good day sir and sorry to hijack the thread.
