Here in Louisville,ky the fee is 6 per player thats played and 75cents a game.we do get a great deal at the pool hall tho from the time they open at 12 till 7 its all you can play on diamond bar boxes for $5 so the room does give back to us.

We pay $50 per team and the five players that play, pay. This does not include tables which are at most places a $1.00 a game.

We pay $35 for the team to shoot, so the 5 players that shoot each pay $7. Every team plays out of a bar. There are no APA, TAP, or BCA leagues that play out of pool halls here.

Two of us work swing shift at different companies, and sometimes our nightshifts overlap, and we forfeit a game. The team still has to ante up the same $35, so the team captain usually digs down into her purse and antes it up. Often, the bar owner, if there, will pay the $7 for no one to shoot. I think that if you forfeit a match, you shouldn't need to pay that $7 for that shooter.

Each team's bar puts up $5 for quarters, in most places that $10 doesn't go far at all. After that, the hosting bar puts up the quarters for us to play.

A forfeit in any league must be paid. It's not the league's fault that you can't field players for all five matches. Dues are dues and must be paid
no matter if one player shows up or the whole team is there.

Every league requires full dues no matter how many play.

George,

Haven't been to Snooker's since they moved. Are you playing on 4.5 x 9 or bar boxes? $10 isn't to bad to play on first rate equipment if its the big tables. In Vegas, the tables are open for league play.

4.5 x 9 GCIV's

$10/match to play at Snooker's vs. $8/match to play at the crappy bars around here? Although I realize Snooker's doesn't factor into the actual APA amount, it's still one hell of a deal! Heck, they made the Top 10 in Billiards Digest this year, arguably the number 1 spot.

Yeah, I just saw that George and to be honest, after playing two leagues in Mass and now this league in Providence, I will gladly pay an extra buck to be able play on those tables under those conditions with those waitresses

See you tonight buddy.

Koop

While I won't argue with any of you about the quality of the equipment or the eye appeal of the waitresses we are but one division that enjoys these perks. Keep in mind approx. 2000 players a week play in the RI APA and most are not playing at Snookers so this isn't really a factor.
