APA, FARGO and the death of 8 ball.....

So...we shouldn't be playing safeties???
Being a capable safety player is definitely a skillset. It is as important to practice safeties as it is to practice pocketing balls. Most people I meet who don't like to play safeties are the ones who don't practice it and are not very good at it because they don't practice. Safety's definitely win games!

It would be awesome if there was just a cash league to play in. No teams, no Vegas, no travel expenses, just cash. Payout at the end based on where you stand. No handicap. Want to win....go practice and start playing better. There are no free trips to Vegas, it all comes from the dues. Overheard plus profits make payouts even less. I'm back to playing league again now, but it's not of much benefit other than a distraction to get my mind off of this shit storm that my life has become.
Different places have local cash leagues. If your room doesn't have one, offer to help them start one/run one.

you dont need a league just match up and play for cash. it isnt a problem in many pool rooms. i find games whenever i want in the 20 to 100 dollar range and sometimes for a lot more.
why play with a bunch of idiots fighting over a nitty rule or complaining he isn't playing his best, or a movement from a guy sitting in a chair upsetting them.
