APA game: Was this a foul?

Thats is 1 of the reasons why I do not play in apa leagues.....its because of some of the stupid knuckle heads who are all so technical... making it less fun

Gentleman rules should be in place. Too many leagues have to many supplemental rules and its the rules that creates the arguments.

Can you believe there is a league that exists in our city that require the shooter to call the ball and call the pocket. The referee must repeat the call out loud. If the player shoots and the referee does not repeat it, it is ball in hand for the other player. If only one ball is on the table which is the eight and the player calls it a '9' instead of '8' the referee calls it as a nine, the player shoots and it is a loss of game. The league also requires a second referee to oversee the first one. Many more very dumb rules this was just one example.
