APA League Play - What's Your Opinion?

I agree

That is the only real critisism I would make of it, but when you get right down to it every handicap system has flaws and people to take advantage of it. If a player approaches it as a fun night out, it will be that. If a player is consumed with getting to Vegas, they probably won't enjoy themselves unless they do.
I wish I had a team to play on, but I'm a 6 and don't want to start my own team. Nobody wants another 6, they want lower handicaps.

I know what you mean, just because you are a 6 nobody wants you, I am an 8 in APA nineball and I don't want myself. I end up giving people points in an APA match that could spot me the 7 ball in a real game.

Yeah it's tough...I had to replace 3 players on my team and obviously wanted 3 lower rated players. Thank god for craigslist.org added a 2 and 2 3's to my team. People couldn't believe it - it's almost impossible to recruit lower rated players from within the existing league since no one will give them up.

craigslist.org, never thought about doing that. From what I have heard about buying things on craigslist from people on this forum, I am surprised that they showed up

CL rules. I'm getting ready to move across country, and I've sold several things I didn't want to haul along in the past couple of weeks.

It's really best when dealing locally, though.
