I was truly humbled last night - was at my friends house for a regular anime night, just at her house instead of another friends. She lives in a mansion and her basement has 2 pool tables.
She told me her dad was a U.S. champ and I saw countless trophies which proved it. The guy had stopped playing 4 years ago because his eyes were going - but! after I talked with him about my love of the game we played 6 matches - each was a race to 5.
This guy was simply astounding... the things I see professionals do was what this guy was doing - and I learned so much and now he's my mentor =P
In the Illiana APA section - he was the first Masters tournament champ, and so on and so forth.
So, is there a way to find out who won past APA tournaments or BCA tournaments?
