Nobody likes to blame themselves for missing a easy shot, right? It seems obvious that she was trying to place the blame on you. Talking to your captain between shots is not against the rules. Sometimes people will walk in front of shots. It happens. If anybody has poor sportsmanship it should be her.
no one said it's against the rules ... it's etiquette. you stay sitting while someone is at the table.
You got to remember when playing apa .. your dealing with A LOT of inexperienced players. there new to the game. like the poster they didn't mean to do it..they didn't know better. Ive captained teams with people who did what this guy did and I educate when it happens. Let them know thats it's not expectable and you should stay still.
Ill have to check the rules but I know during tri cups in between shots you can't stand with your team in case someone try's to coach. you have to call a time out if you want to coach. I don't know if this is an apa rule or just something our operators do.
The only way I move during a game is if I realize in a tight are that I'm going to be in the other players direct line of site.. and if they go down on the shot before I can move I stay statue still and look away, If they miss I want it to be because they hit it wrong..not because I was doing anything to throw them off.
