ok, so i need some quick info before i book my flight at the end of april... its gonna cost me like $600 to book 2 tickets and stay from wed-mon... if i choose not to take the APA accomodations can i get other money back, or do i still only get the money back that is to offset the plane tickets?

I think OneArmed is right but my understanding is the money you actually get back is to be used for airfare and the league takes care of the hotel rooms. If you opt to stay at a different hotel (which many do), you would eat the cost out of your pocket. At least that's the way it works in the APA league I play in.

It pretty much depends on the league operator. They all do things differently. Contact them and ask.

It depends on your league operator for the team championships not for singles. For Singles the APA takes care of your room and if you don't want that room then you don't get any money back for it.

If you are taking someone with you and don't want to share your room, you can contact the APA and make arrangements to not have a roommate. You will be responsible for half the cost of the room I believe.
