The price of the regional qualifiers are crazy. And that is only to get to the regional level. I would rather go play a $5 bar tourny, play against a bunch of wankers and walk out with some extra dough in my pocket.
 
I would make everyone on the team pay not just those who play that night. Because at the end of the session you end up with some expecting their share of the money but they only paid 7 times where you might have someone that put up 14 times. they don't deserve an equal share. everyone on the team should be prepared to take the same losses as well as winnings.
 
I'd quit! Oh, I forgot, I already quit. Got tired of knowing that I couldn't make it to Vegas without cheating. I save myself a handsom sum to spend otherwise.

Maybe if they never show up, but in my experience most people want to play and you need people to sit out, so it's good if at least they don't have to pay for that week.
