This mess started because in my opinion, you are clueless about tips.

I have been doing tip[ and table work] for more years than you have been living. I made the statement to you, that I have installed more tips than anyone alive. This I can back up. It's simple, I just stated that you didn't know what you were talking about.

Like I said once an ahole always an ahole..........never once did I state that I knew more than you. You felt like voiceing your ignorant opinion on what you think you know. You have no knowledge of what I know or what I don't know. But you still feel it necessary to act like a jerk and claim you know everything. As far as I am concerned I hope you do come to Pensacola. Had mine kicked quite a few times also. Got the scars to prove it. If you look inside my mouth, you will swear it looks like a road map of the US. Got em above and below the eye, all over the forehead, in the belly, you friggin name it, I been hit with it. I'm not bragging, that was the wrong way to go. Too bad it took me 53 years to learn. Gotta go have a broken bone in my wrist removed and the four other ones fused to-gether in November because of it. Gonna take me out of the game for about 8 weeks. Thats a real bitch!!!!! I am 6 ft. 1 in and weigh 236 lb's, down from 260. I don't fight anymore. Most guys look at me and don't want to anyway.

Hey Blud, rather than keep getting into these pissing contests, which are no win situations, and does your business absolutely no good, why don't you just use the ignore feature?

Let them rant and rave all they want.

And for the people who don't like you hopefully they will put you on their ignore list too.

There are 3 posts running about this stuff! PTM, I have not heard Blud use any foul language toward you but I have heard you constantly go off on him. Why do you keep bringing this stuff up? Why don't you just let it be? This is as good as of an apology that you will ever get from Blud and your lucky you got this much.

For most people, either you like him or you don't. (Personally he is a good friend of ours.) Now, there are others that can't stand the man, (apparently you are one of them) but they do not air it over and over and over and over on this forum.

On the forum I believe that Blud HAS been on his good behavior because PTM, if he hadn't he would be in the dumpster with a few others that have pushed the envelope.

PTM, take the "apology, in part" and run with it.

To PTM and Blud,

It's obvious you guys can't stand each other. Just ignore each other..totally. Everyone in this world isn't going to like each other. Sometimes you just meet someone that you just don't like, and there may not be any particular reason for it. But, that doesn't mean we can't all be civilized with one another.

I bet a lot of you guys would get along if you actually met in the pool room (and never on a message board) and talked about these kinds of issues. These message boards can be very impersonal, and we can take a lot of the things said here the wrong way, because we're not actually looking at the person who is communicating the particular thought and we're not seeing the physical gestures that are also a big part of communicating a message or idea. (Ok, I've just completed a few COMM courses in school....you get the picture:p ) Words are not always enough to completely communicate your idea unless you are particularly gifted with using them. Some might come off as being pompous, or know-it-all, or insulting but that isn't necessarily their intention.

Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree. There is a lot of good information and good ideas that can be displayed in this forum. Let us try and use this forum for positive and not negative.

I'm sorry, but it seems a little silly when you get angry because someone says they know more about pool tips than you. WHO CARES? Don't let it ruin your day and get you so upset. There are more serious things in life to get worked up about.

PTM, you obviously know your stuff about tables. Ignore statements that you might take as insults and just continue to share your positive table and cue information with the rest of us. You are from Ft. Walton Beach right? I was stationed there at Hurlburt from 98 to 2000, and I lived at Starcade Billiards.

Blud, you're obviously a master cue-maker. If you think someone is giving out bad information, to save conflict you don't have to call them out. Just give out the information that you think is more valid. People are going to review both inputs and make a judgement call on whose information they feel is more accredited. Nothing to get mad at one another about. It's just not worth your health or happiness.

Billiard consumers know that Blud products are outstanding. A lot of the consumers don't understand that when someone is a true genius at something, whether it be a portrait artist, or musician, or cue-maker. They put their entire passion and being into this outlet of their talent and creativity, and if they feel attacked or insulted in their area of excellence, then they sometimes aren't necessarily going to think before they respond.

I've known four or five of these talented cuemakers, and honestly they all have something negative to say about other cuemakers. Why is this? Because they are competitive and they want to sell their cues, but ALSO because they FEEL they are the best at what they do. And their products show it. That goes for Tim Scruggs, Blud, Tony Scianella (Blackboar Cues) to name a few. If a guy didn't feel like this and didn't have a passion for his trade then he's not going to be the success that the aforementioned gentleman are. Obviously there are other talented cuemakers, I'm just using these three to make my point.

Honestly, someone who is exceptionally talented in anything is usually highly eccentric. Look at guys like Earl Strickland. He wears his heart on his sleeve when playing and shows his love and passion for the game all of the time in his strive for excellence on the table. A lot of people find that intensity a little antagonistic and turn against him for it. I honestly don't think it is anything that he can help and I don't think he'll change. The same goes for Blud in the area of cue-making.

Don, who is a stand-up guy and loyal friend to people who sometimes may not even deserve his loyalty (Don, you know who I am speaking of). Don't get yourself all riled up over this stuff. You're too positive of a person to let this internet beef get you upset. (By the way, I'll be out of town this weekend, but next weekend let's play)

All in all, I just wish that everyone on here could get along. The guys I see on here that are very entertaining to read, but really not to be taken seriously are Plato and Danny D. I, and probably many others think they are the same person. I don't want to see them kicked off of here, because there "color" commentary is really fun stuff to read. But don't let it get you upset. Let's be serious, if Danny D was the honest to God hustler he claims to be, would he really be posting on AZ Billiards all of the time? You'd think he would be out on the road making those jellybeans, and he would be as famous as Bucktooth or McCready. My point on that is, let's put people and their comments into perspective before you let them get you down.

That's just my two cents. Take it with a grain of salt.

Great post Matt. Looking forward to seeing/ playing you in the near future. How bout we get the gal's to go with us. Maybe take um" to Champions in Frederick, MD.. I really like the place. 25 cent wings on Sunday, football day, big screen tv's. Really nice place.

Thank God he is gone. I think there were more than two of us here who were tired of his BS. I wouldn't spend the time to call him collect. I WILL pray for the dude. God Bless his poor misguided soul.

Nice spelling PTM, I guess I just lost my crown as the worlds worst speller. Lost the worlds worst nine ball player crown last week. I just gess I gotta find something else to be bad at.
