(Spoiler alert) I just watched Backward Billiards live stream the exhibition match between #4 April Larson(657 Fargo) and Savannah Easton( 13y.o. and a week 580?Fargo) at Betsy's Billiards. 7to9 final with Savannah almost chasing down April. Savannah lost the first game with a scratch after making the 9, She lost the match by leaving the 9 in the pocket. It was that tight!

Fun to watch her play. BackwardsBilliards is doing a great job streaming on UTube. They are out of San Antonio and are expanding their coverage. The small Independents are doing a lot to promote the game and deserve a lot of credit.

Savannah is underrated at 580. She can hang with all but the best American women and is probably more like 630. Nice player with a bright future.

I was able to watch her at Betsy's and again at Skinny Bob's. It is nice to see her family support her endeavors. Skinny Bob's even went non-smoking for the tournament.

Just for the tournament is not enough. To allow smoking in a restaurant, bar or any indoor facility open to the public is a crime.

You have a constitutional right to your opinion but I believe crime is too strong of a word. That would make the room owners and/or manager criminals. They are fine people in my opinion. Skinny Bob's caters to a 21 and older crowd which means anyone going there has the right to go anywhere else or even stay home. Eddie's Tavern(pool hall) is a half mile away or less and there smoking is only permitted outside. I don't smoke but I do believe in private property rights! I'll say no more on the matter, knock yourself out.

You know where this argument goes, employees don't necessarily have the opportunity to go anywhere else.
