Aramith balls turns yellow.

So I bought a set of Aramith tournament balls 10 years ago. Took them to the pool hall for 2 weeks and then got tired of lugging them around and they been in my closet for 10 years. Did they really turn yellow on me without use ??

No pic of the actual balls? Phenolic resin tends to yellow with age. Here's a set of virtually unplayed Brunswick Centennials circa 1970's.

Ok thats pretty much what happened to these balls.

I happen to like the look of older Centennial pool balls. As the balls age, it’s like a patina change and I prefer the appearance.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the sun can bleach them some. Is that accurate?

I personally wouldn’t know, mine were in the box in a closet for a decade. I don’t know why anyone would have an expensive set in the sun.
