Aramith Low Deflection Shaft!

Looks like a wooden ferrule, unless my monitor is skewed... kind of reminds me of someone else's "high tech components".

That is, just at first glance, at least.

Hmm, there's got to be some kind of conflict of interest here. As Saluc make the balls used in 99% of Pro tournaments they could they embed some kind of automatic aiming technology in them that only their shafts can take advantage of. I say we burn them all just to be on the safe side ;-)

I'm not saying it isn't (I have no idea) but it the ferrule looked "normal" enough to me. I guess we'll see.

I don't know, I've looked at it on two different monitors now, and it just looks a little darker than normal...

If reducing tip end mass is what's needed to reduce deflection, I don't know why it would be a linen phenolic ferrule, as they're heavier than soft plastics... I guess that's how I drew the conclusion that it must be wood.

Strange... I'm interested to see how it performs, though.

on my screen it looks like the creamy colored ferulles Helmstetter uses, or used to use...

On a similar note, has anyone else tried Lucasi's new radial spliced shaft? I've been using mine for a few months and really like how it plays. I think it's an 8 piece design kind of like a predator, with a triangle tip.

I played with a predator about 5 years ago, and never really liked it. It seemed I had no feel on the finesse shots, but you could really load up the spin. The Lucasi shaft seems to be in between the Predator and a standard good shaft...
