Was reading a post from the other thread by vagabond about this match as he said he was there. Got me thinking about just how impressive a story it was. I have heard bits and pieces. Ja runs 13 for 10k and Busty asks to double the bet etc.Wow.

So I'd like to hear more details about this match from people that were there and from people that know a lot of the details about the match.I'd like to hear as much as possible. How many sets were played. The equipment. What year was it. Did Busty really say that or did the backer. Who were the backers and how did this match come to happen in the first place.Any pictures from this truly legendary match up?

The bet was for $3000 straight out of J.A. Mouth on the last TAR Podcast.
 
Mr. Archer told me in person that he ran 13 racks to win set 2 and get even then Mr. Bustamante's camp asked to double the bet. He said that this was a good move on their part because at that moment they were dead even and either player could win.

Mr. Archer declined to double the bet and Mr. Bustamante won set 3 and the match was over.

That's one way of turning down someone nicely when they just ran a ''CONTAINER'' on ya.
Most pros are used to ''smaller'' package sizes as Ether would say :)
