I really don't know but i do know they do it all the time, i have seen Karen Earl Francisco clean the table while in play, shoot you can even have them clean the cueball if you want too while in play so i guess there ain't no rule against it huh, i don't know personally speaking.

In IPT play there's no shot clock. So, as long a you don't move a ball or your shot doesn't take too much time (like trying to shark opponent)...then it's ok. FYI, there were other players who seem hyper aware of these things also. I won't mention any names but some players are acutely aware of chalk, lint, dust, etc.

Too funny! Yeah, I get a little of that too, well, maybe more than a little.
Truth is, there's no harm in being a little obsessive, if you don't get carried away. Then again, who's to say how much is too much tho.

I catch myself kicking any loose paper, trash, etc, under the table, or picking it up. When I'm walking around the table, it just catches my attention and it's easiest just to deal with it than worry about why it bothers me, but it does.

Well, I have to say that I am a lint picker too. But just the big goober ones and that includes bugs, etc.
