Archer - slowest player on tour?

Souquet can be pretty damn slow too, but at least he is thinking about his shot; not picking imaginary lint off the cloth, screwing with powder, wiping his cue, drinking water, or picking his nose.
Ralf seems to think out his pattern and then he plays at a normal speed. That is, until he gets out of line. Then he stops and starts the process all over again.
I would prefer to watch Ralf, than some of the other players mentioned.

slowest match I witnessed was between Steve Mizerak vs Jimmy wetch in a PBT event in Orlando, FL in 1994/95 . 9 Ball game race to 13 and it lasted 4 1/2 hours.
fastest match I am familiar with took place between two fast players Luke Salvas vs Keith Mccredy in glass city open a AAA event in Toledo in 90s.I do not remember the exact score and It may be 11-9 and was over in 53 or 56 minutes.

When Johnny Archer does the "Play the pro" night at Cues2. You pay $5 to win a stick and you get to play a game with Archer. If you beat him you get another ticket for the drawing.

He plays fast there. Normally your break and miss. Then he runs out. I played him and scratched on the break but had a good scatter. I just put my stick up.

However slow or not. He can and probably always will be able to beat me so more power to him.

I have a tape of Strickland beating Varner at Reno in a race to i think 11, 11-0 in about 40 minutes.
Earl is a total maniac and rifles in everything from everywhere.
Some of the best pool i have EVER seen.

Watching Johnny play he is up and down so many times I thought I had stumbled into a Catholic wedding.

Having said that, he was a very nice fellow the one time I met him. A Southern Gentleman if you will.
