I ask this question because I honestly feel there is a good market for a pool hall where I live. I live in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Fort Huachuca is connected to the town. There are probably about 15-18 thousand that live or work on the base alone, another 15 thousand in population in town. There is no pool hall here. There are many bars with bar tables and that is it. There is a Cochise county pool league here that plays on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Each league probably has about 50 different players. Fort Huachuca is a training base, this means that mean of the soldiers here are young privates with very little to do and have a regular pay check. I honestly feel that a decent pool hall here that serves good food and decent drink prices can do very well here. The reason it hasn't happened is that nobody really knows about this place. What do you room owner's think? Does it sound like it might be worth the investment? The base has been here for many years and isnt going any where. So a steady customer base is available.
