Are the finals in each of the events a "single elimination", or "true double elimination" final? Meaning if the losing player in the finals did not have a previous loss, can he buy back in to force a second set? And if both players were undefeated, a third set could be forced.

Of course

If one has a buy back he does not lose it because it is the finals. If they both have a loss it would be single elimination, if neither has a loss you could end up with 3 sets for the cash. Also when it gets to the end if their are odd number players, every round someone gets a by, one guy could get a buy all the way to finals if he was real lucky.
